Mike McMahon wrote a song a while back which he called Freight Train and said it reminds him of his now deceased CP Rail engineer friend Loni Plascko, and Mike was thinking it might be fitting to play at his friend's funeral, but Mike's better half thought it might be a tad too heavy for the women in the room if it is played at the funderal on May 5th in memory of his friend Loni. So, I suggested that Mike make it available on the Web in his friend Loni's memory and then anyine viewing this story could listen to it if they so choose. The Freight Train song MP3 file will be uploaded when I get it encoded properly later this afternoon (Friday April 27, 2007). Maybe I could get some feedback and send it to Mike to let him know what others think.

When I finally go to where no one has returned from before, wait until you see the lineup of songs I have planned for my drink massive quantities of the golden nectar beer pissing event!!! In my estimation, Mike's Freight Train Tribute song to Loni is mellow in comparison.

Mike also sent me some more photos that he took yesterday of the two locomotive engines # 3030 and # 3076. Loni Plascko was driving engine # 3076 on Monday April 23rd, 2007 which was the 2nd engine in the engine sequence hookup on the horrifying trip down from Warfield to Trail BC.

Engine # 3030 was the first engine, and the brave and fun loving CP engineer was driving the 2nd engine and had 8 fertilizer cars attached behind before heading fown the Warfield hill. The authorities still do not know exactly why the seven box cars full of fertilizer derailed and unhooked ??? and then the two train engines made it around the hairpin corner with the last fertilizer car still attached before they were all derailed into the gas line overspill pit near the Teck Cominco #4040 change room.

I kind of thought it was obvious why they unhooked, but then  again I would take a year to investigate the cause of the accident. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out, but then again Common Sense if No Longer Common with some people!!!!

As a note, I have been informed that CP bigshots investigating the accident are questioning whether Loni Plascko and his crew did their required break and engine checks before heading down the hill on Monday. Go FIGURE? Well, as a note of importance, I was told directly on Wednesday by the conductor on the train that day and friend of Loni's that Loni and the crew did all the necessary checks to the breaks and engines, and followed the full safety protocol, so let's hope that the CP Rail corporate all mighty buck seekers don't try to blame the engineer who is no longer able to defend himself. And IF, and I mean a BIG IF, this ever happens and they try this bullshit, then the power of citizen reporting will take over and I feel that this true man of bravery and hero will get the support he needs. So let's see if they use Common Sense, or maybe it's no longer Common, and might try to be so stupid. ??? This is why I posted the stories to have a record and time stamp on a few unbaised non corporate news controlled websites including my own at WK UNPLUGGED and also here at www.NowPublic.com

I will upload an MP3 file of the song Freight Train written and recorded by Mike McMahon, and dedicated in Loni's memory. The Freight Train Song was sent to me this morning by Loni's friend Mike McMahon and the photos of the #3030 and #3076 locomotive engine units that Mike took as they were uprighted yesterday and taken of the rail line.
