A ‘fun’ experience for Tarantino aboard a ‘pedicab’

MANILA, Philippines -- It was one “fun” experience famed American director Quentin Tarantino would take with him when he goes back to Hollywood: Riding aboard the only transportation that took him across the flooded streets of Manila Wednesday to Malacañang -- a “pedicab.”

"We were stuck out there," Tarantino told reporters later of his experience, referring to the downpour that stranded other vehicles on the road for hours.

Tarantino was with Filipino director Amable Aguiluz, who invited Tarantino to the Cinemanila International Film Festival.
