Gay Pride Parade 2006 - A look At The Past

      I remember last summer . Yes I remember the Gay Pride Parade really well . Men , women , and children  in great crowds watched the parade for 2 hours. The 28th Annual Vancouver Pride Parade started on Sunday August 6, 2006 at Denman and Robson Streets, continued down Denman Street, making its way along Beach Avenue to Pacific and Thurlow Streets.

        No one was upset at the odd bare breast. The color , the costumes, the atmosphere ah yes it was unbelievable. It ended up at Sunset Beach where the festivities continued throughout the day.  Last  year's parade was the most upbeat and colorful Pride Parade ever held in Vancouver.
 
      The politicians where there , in the parade , along with the Chief Of Police Jamie Graham . The bikers where there on with there Harleys. This was only part of Gay Pride week . It is held every summer in August.
