Genoa files patent infringement lawsuit vs Mitsubishi, Samsung

Herzlia Pituach (ANTARA News/PRNewswire-AsiaNet) - Genoa Color Technologies, Ltd., filed a patent infringement lawsuit in The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York against Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric US Holdings, Inc., Mitsubishi Electric and Electronics USA, Inc., Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Samsung Electronics America, Inc. The lawsuit concerns the defendants' infringement of Genoa's United States Patent No. 7,113,152 entitled "Device System and Method for Electronic True Color Display." In its complaint, Genoa also asserted that the Samsung defendants breached a non-disclosure agreement.
