Yes, I know. How could Germany possibly win the World Cup? Well the trick is to have more than one sport with a "World Cup" title.

This one isn't for football, rather another part of the anatomy - handball.

What?

Handball.

Doesn't Argentina play that game? ...

Handball is becoming more and more popular in Germany, some go so far as to say it is Germany's national sport and as the hosts for the Handball World Cup 2007, Germany weren't the favourites to win. But not wishing to repeat history, they seem to have pulled out all the stops, and it cannot be denied that the whole of Germany, including the disappointed football community, has been gripped by handball fever. In scenes reminiscent of 2006, German cars were driving round the streets waving the black, yellow and red.
