Super Bowl half time show and the SUPERFLUSHSewer departments across the country—including Miami-Dade’s—are bracing for the so-called Halftime Flush. It’s a yearly phenomenon when an estimated 90 million people flush about 350 million gallons of water down the toilet at the same time: during halftime of the big game.
Miami-Dade’s water-watchers said Tuesday the worst that could happen is a temporary loss of water pressure. To be on the safe side, people could stagger their flushing.
Some tips for keeping things flowing smoothly on Super Bowl Sunday:
• Use single-ply toilet paper.
• Keep a trash bin in the bathroom and tell guests not to flush paper towels or napkins.
• Remove small items near the bowl that could fall in and cause a clog.

Nice bit of digging, eliecer! thanks for putting this up. If you have a digital camera, a shot of your toilet bowl might add just a bit of spice...and here's another idea: how about an interview with sports fans on their half-time washroom routines?
It's great to have you around and look forward to more.

Actually I was wondering how many people would rather wear diapers that day, the commercials are just as good, why would anybody choose to miss those? But then again, there is the story about TiVo..
Cheers
