In a report by the police on Thursday, they said that they uncovered a scam in which people trade Home Depot gift cards for drugs, that’s right trading those cards for drugs.

They are given a credit on the gift card. That turns into drug money. Dealers steal a variety of tools and other home improvement items and take them back to the store, asking for a refund.

Criminals will try anything.  I wonder if they are doing this on the American Express Gift card too?
