This is about a powerful conference that took place this past weekend in Bolingbrook, Illinois. It was held by Eagles Wings Ministries. The main speakers were Dutch Sheets (best known for a focus on intercessory prayer) and Robert Stearns (who is over Eagles Wings Ministries).

I was able to attend the three evening sessions. I didn't know what to expect but was hopeful. In any case, my expectations were exceeded. Besides the evening services, they also had day sessions/workshops,and  I picked up a DVD for Dutch Sheets morning session. Although I had heard of Robert Stearns because of his Kairos magazine, I didn't know he himself was a speaker, not to mention an anointed worship leader. He really helped bring the people there into the presence of God. For me, it was like being in a revival service again. The Holy Spirit was moving freely as people worshipped, often dancing and shouting. The fear of the Lord was also present, at some points with many people on their faces, bowed down before the mighty God.

On Thurs. night David Ireland's message was basically about David falling into sin, but his taking it seriously and repenting humbly before God. This is the grace of God. God's grace was calling people that night to be free from sin, and to let God deliver them from it's bondage.

Dutch Sheets message had to do with the prophetic significance of 07/07/07, and how during this year God wants to bring people back into full covenant relationship with Him (and break off any tie we might have with the spirit of Baal).

Fridays message was focused giving God every area of our lives, especially when it takes a "sacrifice" from us. God can turn these rough areas into something for our good and His glory, if we put our trust in Him.

During Sat. night the flow of worship extended.It was a "downloading" of the joy of the Lord, and the sanctuary seemed to explode. A word came forth that the shout of the Lord will be a key tool of warfare during this year as we yeild to it. Robert Stearns gave more a prophetic message talking about what is going on in the earth during these last days, one area being the comparing types of "houses of prayer", and how signs and wonders are going to increase through the Christian body.

I certainly was touched and heard from the Lord during these meetings (esp. on Fri. night, myself being down at the altar) I would like to get other DVD's from various sessions. I believe this was a key meeting in Illinois for this year, helping to bring forth some kind of breakthrough. I can't wait to see what God is going to do in Nov. when they plan on having another such conference here.
