Govt to improve mechanism on TKI placement in Malaysia

Batam (ANTARA News) - Head of the National Agency for Indonesian
Migrant Workers (TKI) Placement and Protection Jumhur Hidayat said that
the government is constantly trying to improve the current mechanism of
TKI placement in Malaysia so that not only their rights would be
guaranteed, they would also be treated as a respected person.

Domestically, the improvement includes arresting people traffickers,
more efficient public service, rating of Indonesian labor suppliers as
well as taking action against them for violating the law, he said in
Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands, on Monday.
