Grass Fire

We had strong winds here yesterday with gusts over 50 mph, which started fires all over central, and north central, Texas, as well as downing power lines, and delaying flights. About 2000 acres and at least 24 structures burned throughout the region.

This fire was one of the small ones, and was just up the road from us. Five fire companies came together to put out the fire.

You can see a house and farm buildings on the middle left of this picture which are not far from the fire. Thankfully, they were not damaged.

Winds are predicted to continue for the next couple of days.
