I am an independent consultant, working with companies in the high tech/internet industry, with prior experience in executive leadership of such companies since the late 1980's. I also served in the US Army as an airborne, ranger infantry officer from 1978-1983 during the Cold War era. Having always enjoyed writing, I use Now Public to write about things that I have experience in, or a strong opinion on and think are important and worthy of greater publicity. Much of this effort involves and will involve matters of our country's national security and also human rights and humanitarian relief efforts for people suffering oppression, namely in Burma, where our family has been focused on trying to help since 2005.
