I woke up to the news this morning that a man had been killed in the Black Forest by flash flooding and hundreds injured by freak hail in Baden-Württemburg, Germany.  Hail the size of tennis balls fell in the area, a bridge was washed away, trees were damaged, streets, underground garages and cellars flooded.  One fireman described the scenes of devastation as being like a warzone and it's thought that the damage could cost millions.  

The storm front is moving from the west to the east over Germany.
