Hal Far detention centre

Near Malta's international airport, where thousands of tourists arrive each week, other incomers - unlucky enough to have been born in countries whose passports are unwelcome - are locked up for twelve months for the crime of trying to get to somewhere they might have a little of the life we take for granted.
