Little Britain star Matt Lucas has married his partner of three years, TV producer Kevin McGee.

After their civil partnership ceremony in London, the pair partied in resplendent style with about 400 or so guests in a pantomime-themed reception.

Guests got right into the spirit to frock up in their panto best, including Elton John as Captain Hook, Courtney Love as the Queen of Hearts, and comic partner David Walliams dressed in a blue and yellow Billy Bunter-style blazer.

As for newlyweds Matt and Kevin, they choose the guises of Ali Baba and Prince Charming, with an onlooker saying they looked sweet.

"They looked very much in love but also a bit like a couple of naughty schoolboys."
