Harmonizing the GST

Minister of Finance Jim Flaherty has said one of the ways of lowering the net government debt in Canada (that is the total debt of ALL levels of government, federal, provincial, municipal and the CPP) would be to have provinces harmonize their Provincial Sales Tax with the GST. Hmm in Alberta we don't have a sales tax except the GST.
