Let It Rain - OK Go
I wanted to find the black light my uncle gave me so I could show off my mutant glowy hair, but I couldn't find it. So, naturally, I shut myself up in my room with a flashlight.
View On Black - and no, I don't bother to edit out my pores.
(PROTIP: This hurts. A lot. Be prepared to spend a few minutes in a brightly lit room feeling disoriented because you can only see out of one eye.)
The only major edits were to remove the white light spot in my iris and to make myself look less sweaty (which invariably happens when your only source of light is a flashlight six inches from your face).
I think if I was to redo this i'd use two lights - one flashlight for the brightness, and then a softer one to light up my whole face so it would look like less of a giant chunk of face got scooped away and plopped on this picture.
Anyway, the day:
I worked all through sixth period to catch up on my geometry homework. The product - huzzah! - was that I got through two assignments. I am such a doofus when it comes to proofs.
So basically that was four hours of math in a six-hour day, and my brain has turned to squish. (Thank god for the two hours of art wedged somewhere in there.)
Confession: Being with people confuses me. I don't understand why it seems like no one understands I'm making a joke when I'm actually - duh! - making a joke. (Is it just that I'm not funny?) Or even not making a joke, just saying something pointless. It's incredibly irritating to explain that when I said "right, okay" when you wanted me to help tape your notebook I wasn't agitated or angry.
Is it something in my tone of voice that I'm not realizing I sound like (because I think I sound normal) or has everybody else just gone insane?
Or is it just those two people? Confession part deux:
The Fade to Black - Secret Dakota Ring
This song is new. And amazing. And you should totally go listen to it, as it is amazing.
