2008.11.08 - Slowly piecing together the jigsaw

I got a 2p and a 5p coin this week... soon I shall have the whole image - only need a 50p and a 20p now.

We're getting new reverse designs for all our coins from 1p to £1 in 2008 - the first major change of this sort since decimalisation in 1971. The portrait of the Queen on the obverse is unchanged except for the removal of the beading around the outside.
