Comparing these results to the 2010 poll on the same topic, we see that legalizing weed is slightly less popular among liberals, and slightly more so among conservatives, than it was last year.

Strangely, PepsiCo (PEP), which owns the Frito-Lay brand, did not see a stock spike on the news.

The above is the result of a telephone poll conducted among 1,005 participants, wieghted for age, ethnicity, gender, and other factors. (Full marijuana poll methodology- pdf)

Note that the poll did not ask respondents whether or not it should be passed to the left or to the right.

Getting a positive results on any poll is fantastic for the herb.  It will help so many patients with their pain problems. Fibromyalgia and other painful disorders can rely on a natural herb as opposed to pharmacutical drugs and fillers.

Everyone has a vision of a hippy with a big smoke cloud around them with the scents of incense and oils. It's become one of the number one pain relievers on the planet as well as the many other uses it could render.

Paper, yarn, fabrics and so much more. It would give many industries a run for their money and save many trees in the process and more! Not to mention the jobs and money that would help recover the economy.  Give Dave a job man!

Legalising it won't hurt anyone - look at Holland for example
