52.12 Ummmm

I uploaded my last 52 on Saturday, so since then:
- I spent a lazy weekend crocheting & doing a bit of keep-up Maths
- I've taken Kate to school a few times (getting up at 7am. Gah!) and got her back too
- I went to see Jenny Eclair at Quartz on Wednesday evening with Mum and Kate. She was crude but pretty funny!
Anddd, well: On Tuesday I got a phonecall from a guy at Debenhams office and did a "phone interview" which I apparently passed :s so I got asked to come to their big offices in Taunton on Wednesday morning. So I went. I was one of 6 applicants, all female. There was a redundant estate agent, a retired teacher, a hairdressing drop-out, a bored receptionist and a girl who'd been volunteering but was interested in design. There were 3 Debenhams ladies, including one from the Taunton head office.
We had a talk about Debenhams, played a game which involved guessing each other's lies, did an exercise on customer service and another on selling things. Then 3 of us waited for the others to be interviewed before our turn. Then they misplaced my passport for a few minutes before finding it on the photocopier!
This afternoon I had coffee with a friend who's also on a gap year. We had a catch-up and did a bit of shopping. I now have some nice black jeans and a new mascara. We had a good wander around and tried on a few things. Then when we were in Primark I got a phonecall from the main Debenhams lady to say I'd got a job! So now I get trained up and unleashed on the poor unsuspecting shoppers of Taunton :s
I had a thoroughly nice afternoon!

*edit* Oh! I meant to say congratulations to the brilliant Disco Stu who just finished his 365! But now he's done a day 366 so maybe I'm a little too late?!
