And The Ones That Mother Gives You. . .

Day 63 of 365 (Year Two)

I am sick. It started last night with a little discomfort in my nose and is now a full blown sore throat and fever. I've taken fever reducers, decongestant, some Tussen and more. None of it really works for me.

I hate taking meds and especially pills. Most of the time they will work for a week or so and eventually they just stop working. This is a real pain in the ass for somebody who has allergies. I have yet to find something that works 100%. My medical records have a long list of everything I've tried and when I do go to the Doctor his first question to me is usually, "Are we here to try something new?" and usually my answer is yes. I only go when my allergies get really bad because I know he is going to give me something new that will offer temporary relief, but in the long run, won't really make much of a difference, so what is the point?

I also happen to be the biggest baby when I'm sick. I've only been home from work for 6 hours and Kathy is ready to ship me out! :-(

Title taken from a song.........anyone know which (I'm sure somebody does)? Kathy looked at me like I was crazy and said, "I don't get the title." I really need to work on her musical knowledge!
