Autopsy Planned for Jett Travolta

The Travolta family attorney, Michael Ossi, has commented on the tragic death of the actor's 16 year old son Jett Travolta on January 2, 2009 in the Bahamas. Ossi conveyed that all efforts to revive the boy at the scene failed:
"A nanny attempted to revive him, all attempts were made, but he couldn't be revived," Travolta's attorney, Michael Ossi, who is also in the Bahamas, told ABCNews.com Friday. "They tried as hard as they could to revive Jett."

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine the exact cause of death, though it is suspected Jett suffered from a seizure upon entering the bathroom alone and hit his head on the bathtub. While it is unclear whether Jett suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome, autism or some other affliction - and whether his physical and/or mental condition was related to his death, either directly or indirectly - he did have a history of seizures though it is unknown whether he was taking any medication for this.

Jett Travolta's autopsy is now complete, and while health officials are unable to publicly comment on the findings the fact that his body was so quickly turned over to the morgue indicates that there was no foul play and his death was not suspicious.

Following the autopsy, Jett is expected to be buried in Florida:
John Travolta's teenage son likely will be buried in Florida following his death at the actor's home in the Bahamas, an attorney said Saturday.
Preliminary plans are to fly the body of 16-year-old Jett Travolta to Ocala by midweek, Michael McDermott, Travolta's corporate and commercial attorney, told The Associated Press.
Travolta, 54, and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, 46, have a house in Ocala.
"John and Kelly are still sleeping," McDermott said late Saturday morning. "They probably stayed up most of the night ... It's heartwrenching. If you knew how much he loved that boy ... You could just see it, you could feel it."

Im sorry for the tradgedy , however Scientology should be outlawed for their incorrect beliefs, this child was autistic and needed help years ago.The end of his life is so sad.Not recognizing his condition especially if he needed medication should be a reminder that these children of money/stars with crazy beliefs are in danger .

No one should tell anyone how to run his or her life. The Travolta's were loving and caring parents.I'm not a believer in Scientology either but those are their beliefs and everyone needs to respect that.I hope the Travolta's will get through this and can live the rest of their lives. I hope God will help them.

Live the rest of their lives with the guilt of knowing that keeping medicine and therapy may have saved their child and even if that isn't the case it could have given him a better quality of life while alive. They have the right to believe what they want to.... even at the expense of the innocent? I don't think that is right.
