TruemorsI saw this lady shovelling snow off of her steps. I asked her if she wanted help, but she wouldn't have it. An elderly lady with a strong spirit, she couldn't speak English but we seemed to communicate anyways. All I knew is she came from Russia and showed me photos of her many grandchildren.
It was a very overcast day and used a film camera with 100 ISO film. It was difficult to ask her to stand still, as the shutter speed was slow, but I captured what I could, and walked away a much richer person having met her.
