Baby Declared Dead Found Alive in Morgue
After being declared dead, a newborn baby was found alive in a morgue.
Luz Milagros, or "Miracle Light," was born prematurely to Analia Bouguet in Argentina. Twelve hours after doctors pronounced Luz Milagros dead, Bouguet and the baby's father, Fabian Veron, decided to visit the morgue for one final goodbye.
Rather than saying farewell to their supposedly deceased infant, the parents were shocked to find their child still alive.
In a press conference, Fabian Veron said, "The baby was there and they put the little casket on a stretcher. We looked for a bar to pry it open. My wife looked and uncovered it slowly. She saw the little hand and then uncovered the face. That's when it let the first little cry out."
Bouguet is pursuing a medical malpractice suit. As of now, five medical professionals involved have been suspended and Luz Milagros is in critical condition.
