Twelve years ago, when I first started with the company where I'm currently employed, I shared a big bulky Motorola analog cell phone that weighed about a pound. No one would call unless there was an emergency. I then graduated to a smaller Nokia cell phone, then it was the Samsung flip phone.
The number of phone calls increased over the years, then they switched to texting for non-urgent things (because I don't answer when in a meeting).
Last week, they got me a new Blackberry. Now they can call me, text me or email me. No more excuses. There is no escape!
