Bob Barker to Speak in Front of Chicago City Council

     Chicago’s city council has asked former “Price is Right” host Bob Barker to come on down....and lobby for snip snips! The 84-year-old animal rights activist will go before council members to support an ordinance that would require all Windy City dog and cat owners to spay or neuter their pets once they hit six-months-old. Proponents of the ordinance claim it will not only help reduce the population of homeless dogs and cats, but also reduce the number of attacks on Chicagoans by aggressive animals.

    Barker will testify Tuesday, offering a famous face and reputation as a staunch animal rights supporter to the cause. No word if the committee hearing will include a round of Plinko, but expect Barker to utter the same famous words he spoke at the end of each show since 1979: “Help control the pet population; have your pet spayed or neutered.”
