Breast Cancer Foundation Receives Donation From Caribou Coffee

The National Breast Cancer Foundation received a check for $28,000.00 today presented by The Caribou Coffee Company. $14,051.00 was raised by Caribou which Coca-Cola matched. An anonymous donor also contributed $500 for the check's grand total.

About half of the proceeds came from sales of "Amy's Blend," a special coffee the company developed in honor of Amy Erickson, an employee who succumbed to breast cancer. Caribou Caribou, town, United States

There are already expansion plans in the works for Amy's Blend. Caribou Coffee has further plans for raising awareness during breast cancer awareness month. A decaffeinated blend will be available by next year. Caribou Coffee hopes that they will be able to raise even more money for the breast cancer cause in 2010.
