GREAT weather helped to ensure a good turn-out for the sixth Bury 20 and Nearly 10 – organised in aid of Muscular Dystrophy – held at Nowton Park on Sunday.
A field of 630 runners started their race in the avenue of lime trees in almost perfect conditions for a long distance event.

This was the final few yards of the Nearly 10 Race at Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk held on Feb 28th 2008.
As you can see the finish is slightly uphill into a park. The distance is slightly unusual being approx 9.5 miles!
