I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in Sept 07 and finaly started my pre surgery chem-radiation treatments in december and finished those up in jan 08. Due to other medical and financial reasons i never had my surgey unti feb 08. I am now undergoing my post surgery chemo treatments and will finish those up at the end of october. The chemo has affected me more than i thought it would and i have only worked three weeks since october 2007. I have managed to keep my bills paid up until now but the money is gone. The only problemi see i am going to have is paying my rent up for october and november which i am hoping to be back to work by then. All agencies i have contacted thus far have told me i was ineligible due to the small amount i receive on my mi9litary retirement which is $600 a month. This will be hopefully the only time i have to ask for assistance. If you know of any organization that would be helpful it would be greatly appreciated and i would be happy to repay as soon as i return to work. Thank you for your time and patience.
