Janet Steffenhagen reports that:

I received a tip this morning that the Vancouver board of education has developed another plan for UBC-area schools. The board's communications manager, David Weir, would not give me details but confirmed that senior administrators would be meeting today with staff and parent leaders at University Hill secondary and University Hill elementary to discuss the "educational framework" proposed for the area. That discussion will determine what buildings are needed (which is the real issue).

But my source says there is an innovative plan in the works that calls for three/four new UBC-area schools: two schools for K-5, one 6-8 middle school and one 9-12 secondary.
