Cilantro, Curly Parsley Recall -J&D Little Bear Cilantro And Parsley, Voluntary Recall
Texas based produce company, J&D Produce is issuing a voluntary recall of its Little Bear cilantro and curly parsley after a positive test for Salmonella.

Following confirmation from regulators of a positive test for Salmonella on curly parsley in Quebec and cilantro in Detroit, J&D Produce Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of its curly parsley and cilantro items packed between November 30 and December 6, and processed and branded under the "Little Bear" product line by the Edinburg, Texas-based company.
The recall announcement was made after testing confirmed Salmonella on the company's parsley and cilantro, both of which came from the same processing line in Texas.
The recall involves 2.500 cases of parley and 4,500 cases of cilantro distributed in Ontario, Quebec, and the U.S. states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.
