The University of Ohio's Institute for Policy Research found that, in 2010, 18% of Cincinnati homes had bedbug trouble.

Rep. Dale Mallory, chair of the Cincinnati Joint Bed Bug Task Force, has declared war on bedbugs in order to reclaim the city's good name.

Other cities where bedbugs have surged include Toronto, Boston, Denver, and Los Angeles. Also see Bedbugger: how to get rid of bed bugs.
