Crib Recall Oct 22: Victory Land, Angel Line and Ethan Allen

Over 40,000 Cribs Are Being Recalled Due to Suffocation or Entrapment Risk

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a voluntary recall for three brands of cribs, after parents reported incidents of their babies and infants becoming trapped if the drop-side rail detaches.

Victory Land Group are recalling about 34,000 of their Heritage Collection 3-in-1 drop-side cribs that were sold exclusively at Kmart.

Model numbers included in the recall are 07-1248 and 07-1252; products were sold in natural and white colors from February 2007 to October 2008.

Angel Line

Angel Line is recalling about 3,400 drop-side cribs that were sold in the web at Ababy.com, Babyage.com and other web stores from December 2004 to January 2009. The recall includes models of Longwood Forest drop-side cribs with plastic drop hardware (6103S, 6105S, 6106S, 6108S, 6109S, 8025P, and 8029P).

They were sold in white, brown, oak and natural colors.

Ethan Allen

Ethan Allen is recalling about 3,250 of their drop-side cribs that were sold at Ethan Allen stores from January 2002 to December 2008. This recall involves Ethan Allen brand cribs with the item numbers 14-5650, 15-5650, 16-5650, 26-5650, 35-5622, 36-5620, 36-5622 and 38-5622. They came in a variety of different colors.
