See the text embedded in each image for the details... Birdflu in China. Sorry I have embedded the editorisl within each pictures iptc tag, and have no time to copy & Paste the details here....
Unregulated peasant sells uninspected poultry in street market as death toll rises from the H5N1bir flu virus in China. After slitting the bird’s throat, it is placed into the boiling water in order to make it easier to pluck out the feathers. Cross contamination is dangerous. Splattered blood can be seen all over the man’s legs and feet; and entire surrounding area. After handling the bird the customers will pass money and touch the bird; passing a mixture of blood and contamination with each unsuspecting contact. As the man takes public transportation contamination will spread. The water and blood is discarded freely into the street and public sewage system. as each shopper comes to inspect each chicken, they will then continue to the fruit and vegetable stands as they carefully inspect produce to buy , carefully feeling each piece with their hands; while all the time continuing to cross contaminate the entire market place and even those shoppers who have no intention of purchasing poultry. While local reports of heightened inspection have been published in state run newspapers, business continues as usual with no inspectors present. It these inspectors have not been anywhere to be found…. After the chicken’s throat is cut, blood is drained into a bowl where it is mixed with other slaughtered chickens blood. then it is dropped into the bloody basket to move around until it dies. Inside the basket is full of blood from other chickens. This blood sits out in streets as hundreds pass by in a high traffic area. As the birds flutter and water splashes cross contamination occurs rampantly. Spattered blood flies onto everything and everyone. The blood is then poured into the gutter and open sewage , or simply poured onto the street for the mass public to walk through. As the man takes public transportation contamination will spread, as each shopper comes to inspect each chicken, they will then continue to the fruit and vegetable stands as they carefully inspect produce to buy , carefully feeling each piece with their hands; while all the time continuing to cross contaminate the entire market place and even those shoppers who have no intention of purchasing poultry. This blood sits out in streets as hundreds pass by in a high traffic area. As the birds flutter and water splashes cross contamination occurs rampantly. Spattered blood flies onto everything and everyone.

Sorry.. I have written a desciption editorial piece in each picture within the iptc caption, and have no time to go trhough them all and copy and paste them here as this site does not read iptc tags : (,,,
So I just took the description from one pic and used it for everything... terrible I know.

This is a good post and a different way of posting, however the rules still apply. Please use the Highlight tool for external sources and do provide a link for the sources and please do add some comments of your own, last please do not copy a whole article either and only an abstract of it. In your post I am not certain what is original and what is copied.

Sorry. I think you m,isunderstood me. These are all my images. All the images contains complete iptc keywords and editorial content, however this site is unable to read the content from the embedded image description. These pictures took place one of the largest cities in China... not in the countryside.
I will add some more tags though... no prolem... its to bad they have not mapped the iptc fields into drupal here though :(

If it is all your original work, just mention it as such like by saying "By, antinsa".
I think it is a good post and well done and I will talk to Jordan if the picture problem can be fixed on this site to allow such posting. Good work.

The "download original file" option is only available to administrators and the person who actually uploaded the original file: others cannot access this.

Great! I know its difficult to map iptc with drupal as I am trying it with my own site... but I think you guys have a bit more resources than me and think you shoupd focus on that . That is a great feature for a site like this. some have done it I believe...

Hey everyone this is just some raw stuff and I like the collaborative writing that goes on here... I sent this in a private PM/// I thought I would post it here too... :
==============================================
Sure... thanks! I actually was not trying to self promote this information in order to gain popularity in a blog type standing or such... Honestly I wish I had time to write all about it and make it very legible.... Im basically trying to go through a couple of hundred stock images and get them keyworded and out to the agencies. And , hopefully get them sold. I have had some people from this site pull my images off flickr which first brought me here.... and use them in their articles. Sure I love to write, and I like this site. I just wanted to break off some raw stuff I had and get it out there.... I am trying to put together a site of my own @ thecenterofthenet.com , sell stock images, and take care of business in a worsening economy here in China. I literally have no time to write or put any effort into this. ================================================ There is a lot of work in the iptc tags and getting the footage. (Sorry you cant see that here, I dont have time to put it togetehr for this site now) =================================================== If there are some serious agancies lurking on this site that would be interested in my footage, then I would be happy to write a serious article for them. In fact Id love to have the time to do that here.... But I am slammed. Sweatshop labor at my keyboard. Your comments are great and true... If you know about the subject and need something visual then thats what my quick goal was.
======================================================== Just to share a peek of this world with those who thirst for knowledge
===================================================== So enjoy the footage, I have a pile of work to go through. BR- Robert

: ) I really hope that nothing evolves. The people in these pictures desperately need the work and have little knowledge of the serious danger which may evolve... although things have been this way for hundreds of years.
I saw a documentary from I think ... it took a look at 4 common workers all around the world...
One of them was a butcher market in Africa. It was shockingly unbelievable and a great film...will track down the name when I get a chance...
i hope though that no one gets hurt. These people and children are my nighbors and friends, and even my own children.
