I've been experiencing a lot of unexpected high BGs this past week. I'll shoot up to 250-290 overnight, go high after dinner, even after lunch & a walk. I've changed everything and nothing helps. Some days have been mostly okay so I know that it's not bad insulin, or a bad set.
Thursday night I was frustrated once again by a high reading after dinner and decided to change everything out again. I took a new vial of insulin from th fridge without thinking and filled a new reservoir. When I looked at it tonight, it was full of air bubbles. There were none in the tubing, though. My previous reservoirs didn't have any air bubbles so that's not why my numbers have been high either.
Air bubbles are why I hate filling reservoirs.
