I have read and seen some examples of slow curtain sync (rear in this example) flash, not having shot anything during the day, not particularly motivated . . . I experimented a little and came up with this. You can see how I started the exposure in the upper right and panned the camera down and to the left. Had to do it a couple of times to get the timing down... It is kinda neat - might make for some cool bike racing shots come warmer weather. ;)
