Emily Beth McDonald charged with feeding her 3-year-old feces

Emily Beth McDonald, a 23-year-old mother from Austin, Texas, has been charged with injury to her three-year-old daughter, due to repeatedly feeding her human waste, causing her life-threatening infections.
The hospital staff put in a surveillance camera in the Dell Children's Medical Center as the little girl had been hospitalized for serious infections caused by organisms found in feces and the staff were concerned about her well-being.
The affidavit said that hospital staff decided, based on that information, to place a camera in the child’s room and that it recorded McDonald taking “fecal matter from a spoiled diaper” and placing it on the cap of a tube that has a direct link to the child’s bloodstream.
McDonald confessed to wiping the end of the tube with feces.
“McDonald advised that she knew her actions would cause her daughter to stay sick,” the affidavit said. “McDonald also explained that rubbing feces on her daughter’s line could cause her to become septic and that it could kill her.”
Bail has been set at $100,000 and McDonald could get life in prison if convicted.

HOPE SHE GOES TO PRISION FOREVER & SOMEONE IN THEIR MAKES HER EAT HER OWN FECES. PEOPLE SHOULD NEED A LICENSE TO HAVE CHILDREN. THIS MAKES ME SICK!

I do not agree with the pathetic catch all phrase "poor girl needs help". No she doesnt, she needs to be force fed her own **** until it kills her. You enablers HAVE TO STOP being so protective of the criminals than you are the innocent children these monstrous people are killing, maiming & destroying. And I do not believe for ONE SECOND that her "supportive, fine family" did not know about this. Thats a crock of BS!!!!

For your information she was a fine young woman, this was completely COMPLETELY out of character. This was a woman would donate her own breastmilk to hospitals- she was a loving and caring mother. So completely grounded and headstrong. We have no idea how this has all come about but she would have to have been completely out of her own sense of mind to have done this because she dotes on all her children.
It's so hard to see someone you love go down this road. I pray for her and her children.

No, she should not have to eat her own feces - to say that is just rude and mean. I don't know why she chose to do this to her poor daughter, but I have been following her blog for a while and I cannot see how someone could turn like that. I do have my thoughts and ideas, but the best thing we can do is pray for her and her family and her children, especially her daughter that's in the hospital. She is a beautiful girl who did not deserve this treatment. I pray she gets better fast!

I believe they didn't know. 1) Emily the mom, was the one that was ALWAYS at the hospital with the daughter *Stacy* (changed). The family was only able to come visit occasionally. The father worked and the other children stayed with other relitives. 2) She did it when no one was around - its not like she's gonna do it in front of them.
Don't jump to conclusions so much.

I think it's a high probability that she has had something to do with other illnesses this child has had and perhaps even had a role in causing her pregnancies to end prematurely. So sad that these beautiful children have lost their mother because of these actions.

I love everyone screaming send her to prison and let her eat feces the whore! How about we go a different way here. Who here thinks Emily Beth McDonald needs mental help with a professional? Or how about Emily Beth McDonald deserves a fair trail before any judgement is passed? Or did I forget that this took place in Texas (which is in the USA, believe it or not) and a fair trail is afforded us by the Constitution/Bill of Rights! Damn you Due Process! I know the fix to all of this, lets go with the Crime Control model! Yes, crime control, everyone here should agree with me, the police have you as a suspect in some type of scheme so they arrest you and throw you in jail with a minimal trial and process, hopefully we can all agree on that!
Am I angry that this happened hell yes I am, but on the same hand we shouldn't judge her until after the trail and all the evidence has been submitted and a judgement passed by a jury of her peers. Right now the only evidence we have of the alleged wrong doing (yes alleged, she hasn't be found guilty yet, remember) is the media as no one on this site has seen the video in question.
Back to my main point though, instead of damning her into a pit of fire to live in hell forever how about we damn her to a mental hospital were she can really get the help that she needs and deserves or have we all digressed to burn the witch mode and it's all too late for everyone in Salem?

You know I heard a psychiatrist doing a documentary once say, "When I started out I believed there were two kinds of people in this world, mentally ill & mentally healthy. After doing this for 11 years I now know there is such a thing as just pure evil." Put that in all your enabler pipes & smoke it!! I only care about the children, the VICTIMS, the sadistic perverts who do these things gain not one ounce of sympathy from me. Oh yes, btw, THIS CRIME WAS CAREFULLY PLANNED!! Thats PREMEDITATION folks! Look it up.
