Do we live in a 'matrix'?

Contemplating 'my math ideas' over the last couple of days has produced some disturbing results. 1. I'm flat out wrong theoretically – the irrationals are an infinite order set; they're uncountable. But 2. The irrationals can be approximated to any desired precision with a countable set. This is the 'scary' part because this fact along with our evidence of quantum processes: the 'smaller you look' – the more random it appears, indicate we're living inside a giant super-sophisticated simulation. Point 2 above means we'll never know for sure – unless we find true evidence for 'holographic noise' (or something like that).. Remember Occam's Razor? The simplest explanation tends to be the right one? If we're not in a simulation, the universe self-created with just the right conditions for life in this instance and everything is truly random. If we are, some intelligence is curious 'what we do' with it (our universe and freedom). By orders of magnitude, the simulation-scenario is the simpler explanation making it the preferred explanation. But honestly, this is dismal for me because that means we're living inside some kind of giant experiment.. Nobody likes to be experimental test subjects unless they're getting paid.. Perhaps spirituality is our link to 'payoff'? It's just a guess but.. I don't see other options immediately. So again it comes down to two distinct possibilities for our universe: 1. A self-created instance with no agenda and no purpose OR (indistinguishable from) 2. A totally voluntary experiment with spiritual incentives. ..Now I understand the revulsion of atheists who reject spirituality for total absolute freedom. Scenario 2, even though it's totally voluntary, still has some moral (and therefore restrictive) implications: don't participate at your own risk. Wow.. I don't like that threatening aspect implied in spirituality.. I was never fully aware of it until now .. Correction, I believe when I was atheist (as a teen), this was my primary motivation (other than rejecting Christian coercion). So all atheists who reject spirituality on these grounds: “Please forgive me.” I get it (again) .. (To God facetiously:) “How dare you put autonomous agents in an experiment! What arrogance! Who says we can't break out of this simulation and come looking for you!” [wink] Or another way: “Babe, I miss You. Can't We go out on a Real date for once?” :P So.. Candide was right! This is the best of all possible worlds.. [sigh] What can we do? 1. Reject spirituality on 'moral grounds' and do whatever we want OR 2. accept spirituality and maximize 'spiritual payoff'. The choice has always been yours..

(A paragraph about quantum systems.) ..Listen, if I'm right; if the reals are countable, that indicates time is countable or in other words – discrete. If so, the universe is one giant assemblage of quantum systems with countably infinite states. Discrete time is required to progress through every possible state uniformly to determine relative frequency outcomes. The rate? c, the speed of light. Another way to look at this is: it takes one time increment to pass through every (countably infinite) possible next state. So for any given quantum system, or assemblages of quantum systems, that system 'tries out' every potential 'next state' over one time increment. Implicit in each system is a uniform random variable 'operating on' the relative fractional outcomes. Another way to look at it is as a piechart of relative outcomes – the larger slices have greater likelihood, you spin an arrow anchored at the middle, it stops on a particular slice which decides a particular outcome (the system here 'knows' all potential outcomes as part of its 'structure'). The time required for spinning the arrow: a time increment. A new piechart is created based on potential next states so in a sense, the future pulls the present forward based on potentiality (of states). A quantum system evolves through time sequentially based on discrete time and potential next states. A particular real quantum system has a unique life-path. And so do we.

Imagine your life-path as a thread that's growing into the future. A relationship can be thought of as intertwined threads; the closer the relationship, the tighter the intertwining. One might spin around another (an unbalanced relationship) or they might have a common center and appear more balanced. In a healthy family, multiple threads are intertwined for life. Of course, as individuals within a family mature, they typically find other threads to intertwine with – in mate and close friends.. Many 'break up' and so threads go separate ways but.. If any children were produced, new threads associated with those individuals appear at conception. If any individual dies, their thread ends – only to reappear in another location along 'that trajectory' (determined by the momentum in your life). So if you spend your life hating and doing violence, when you die, your trajectory is determined by your lifestyle of hate and violence: you are sent to an appropriate planet at the stage of your lifestyle (an example is Earth during WWII). However, if you life is full of peace, love, harmony, and helping others, you are impelled to a planet appropriate for your peaceful lifestyle. An example is the Indigo Planet .. If I could only give 'two pieces' of advice to anyone before leaving: forgive yourself; forgive others; love yourself; love others. You don't need any more than that to carry you through 'dark times'.. Ah and always I almost forget the point.. Occasionally, a single thread beings to glow like a filament in a lightbulb. Or, maybe it's several threads intertwining.. These glowing threads throw light on all surrounding threads.. Sometimes, the light can create a spontaneous ignition in nearby threads causing a cascade/domino effect.. This is Awakening .. But, it takes at least one to ignite the rest.. Wake up; realize you can determine your life-path through choices.. You can guide your momentum (direction).. You can decide which planet to visit next.. Share your love.. Share your own epiphanies before you go.. and never forget: We miss You; come visit soon. (That's a good epitaph.)

I have a 'feeling' – not all souls are always spiritual / growing spiritually. Sometimes we ignore spirituality and focus on the physical. That's why so many souls on this planet refuse to recognize spirituality or focus on material concerns. The cool thing about spirituality is that we have an edge – something very profound on our side: love. Two people falling in love or loving each other opens the door (or at least the possibility) to spirituality. One other advantage of 'the home court' is that sometimes.. some individuals who have advanced to say the Indigo Planet – have decided to 'come back' for our benefit: Siddhartha, Jesus,.. Unfortunately, these spiritual leaders were commandeered by Earthly religions corrupting their intentions.. ^^ So there's give and take.. Love can be twisted into 'just sex' – just as – spiritual leaders can be commandeered .. But don't give up Earth.. I work for the day Earth becomes an Indigo Planet.. Our State pulls You forward.. Don't lose faith in yourselves: your Potential pulls you forward as well.
