Fat Food Increases Stress
Foods rich in fat are necessary for proper functioning of your body and play a crucial role in development and working of your brains too. Confused?? Yes, you may be. Making it clear, fats are essential for the body but the amount of fat that we need is procured by the body from the food that we eat even if we seldom have a really fat rich food. Another aspect of fats and the more serious one is that fast ruin your health and are reason for many diseases related to heart, blood vessels, liver and many more. It also increases the level of stress as it was revealed through a research made in University of Calgary.
It has been observed that a small fat meal can increase your stress level and make you at a greater level of stress in comparison to those who have a low fat meal. A team was set to study the reactions of individuals regarding their stress level as per their food. Half of a group of students were provided with fast foods in breakfast and rest half were provided with dry cereal along with skimmed milk, cereal bars and non-fat yogurt. The results were surprising as just a change in single meal of an individual led to a drastic change in their stress level. Students who had fast food experienced higher level of stress in comparison to other individuals.
