"During this time of tragic conflict in Gaza and Israel, the media is full of images and stories about violence, and the battle between the Israel Defense Force and Hamas.
But far from the media spotlight, stories of cooperation and coexistence still exist, stories that demonstrate the extraordinary ability of ordinary people on both sides of the conflict to reach out and help one another.
Last week, while missiles were raining down on both Gaza and Israel, Israeli and Palestinian doctors worked together to save the life of Jafar, a two-week-old Palestinian baby, born with a heart defect. The full story, Finding hope in the midst of conflict, can be found here: "

It is a good story tikun and hope is always good. Peace and friendship demand hard work and diligence as well as discipline to be establish and maintain, yet every little bit of positive actions and good will does help.

Invariably it is the innocent on both sides of any divide that suffer the most
