Health chiefs are furious at the UK launch of a soft drink called Cocaine that purports to give some of the effects of the drug Cocaine. It sounds disgusting with ingredients such as the powerful Japanese raddish wasabe mixed with cinnamon. Great PR though with its target audience lapping up the publicity and seeing it as at least a 'must try' - but if they like it and associate the like with the name cocaine for some the real thing might become a 'must try' too.

AN energy drink named COCAINE that is three times more powerful than Red Bull is to be launched in Britain.

The drink is said to mimic the effect of the Class A drug by numbing the throat.

But campaigners blasted it for glamorising drugs to kids – and last night it emerged that health chiefs may investigate.

The drink has numbing ingredients cinnamon and wasabi, plus 280mg of caffeine – equivalent to four espressos, and 350 per cent more than energy drink Red Bull, which has been linked to irregular heartbeat.
