Gene clue to how cancer spreads
For all the following people in my circle of friends and family who have died from cancer since 2000, I hope they find a cure:
Those who have survived, so far:
Courtney, my two yr old cousin, has leukemia, now four and going strong
Mary, removal of both breasts, still going strong
Davida, once again fighting it, going thru chemo once again. Hope it stays gone this time.
I hate the word cancer. On the first list, they ALL died between 2000 and 2004. I really hated the phone when it rang. Now, I have a hard time telling some one they will be ok. I lack sincerity now if I try to say it, cuz I struggle to believe they will be.
To every one going thru something similar, or having already gone thru it, prayers are with you. Hope they find the cure for your loved ones in time.
A genetic change that makes lung cancer more likely to spread around the body has been pinpointed by US scientists.
