A good night's sleep can boost the memory... but only 21% of us get the recommend eight hours

Some experts say that less than eight hours of sleep is already good.  Anyway, what all these researches are leading us is to the fact that a good sleep really helps boost memory. We should grab sleep whenever we can catch it. 

Sleep appears to strengthen connections between nerve cells in the brain, a process thought to form the basis of learning and memory.

Researchers studied volunteers who were taught a new skill or shown images. Tasks included trying to follow a moving dot on a computer screen using a joystick.
