Got An Office Depot Chair? Better Check the Seatback

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is cooperating with Office Depot and Raynor Marketing to recall about 150 000 office chairs.  Full description follows:

This recall involves the Quantum Realspace PRO™ 9000 Series Mid-Back Multifunction Mesh Chair SKU # 510830 and the Quantum Realspace PRO™ 9000 Series Mesh Chair with Headrest SKU # 690690. The Realspace PRO™ Mesh Guest Chair is not involved in this recall.

Hazard:  the seatback can fall off.  The importer, Raynor Marketing Ltd. has received 33 reports of chair failure and 14 reports of injuries.
Number sold:  In U.S. approx. 150 000 chairs sold.  Also sold over the Net.
Fix:  Stop using the chair until you contact Raynor for a free repair kit.  Telephone toll free 866 244 8180
