H1N1 is the new Pandemic of our recent years with a Phase 5 alert according with the World Health Organization and we can see new cases all around the world every day in the news.

Companies like Replikins, Novavax, Medicago, VaxInnate, NanoBio, Vaxart, Pulmatrix, and Purdue University, are working day and night to come up with the Vaccine for the virus H1N1 also known as Swine flu, According to the WHO the country with more cases detected at this moment is the Republic of Panama with over 107 cases confirmed by the Gorgas National Institute of epidemiology, this numbers proved of the need of a vaccine, never the less could this vaccine be ready before the imminent pandemic the WHO has announce?

Replikins a company working in the vaccine predicted this outbreak a year ago, wich could give them time to developed the vaccine and prevent this worldwide epidemic, they based their prediction in "correlations of flu virus specimens and PubMed documentation of major outbreaks during the past 90 years, focusing on concentrations of, and spacings between, replikins - the lysine and histidine residues in the hemagglutinin (HA) unit genetic sequences of the eight major genes in the influenza virus" Replikins' officials say the company's PanFLu™ vaccine is ready for clinical trials.

This vaccine is ready for clinical trials but there's nothing yet that confirms the ending of this outbreak.

"It can take five or six months to come up with an entirely novel influenza vaccine," says John Sterling, Editor in Chief of GEN. "There is a great deal of hope that biotech and pharma companies might be able to have something ready sooner."

At the end we should ask ourselves if one company vaccine is ready for clinical trials the same company that predicted the outbreak, and we have other companies also working to have the vaccine ready, what are they waiting for? a global pandemic to gain a bigger profit?

It seems the contradiction between profit and healing humanity continues to grow.
