Harmful to Your Health: Distracted Driving
Every year, more than 33,000 Americans die in car accidents. And one of the main reasons is because of distracted driving. Reducing this number—and saving lives—can be done through proper education and awareness. That’s what organizations like FocusDriven believe. This non-profit organization is dedicated to raising awareness about the danger of cell-phone distracted driving. In addition to education, it supports families who have suffered at the hands of distracted drivers.
“We are the constant reminder to the world that no call or text message is worth someone’s life,” is FocusDriven’s mantra. And that’s why during National Distracted Driving Awareness Month—which occurs every April—the organization is launching campaigns to fight distracted driving, and hopefully save someone’s life.
