Hepatitis C Investigation In February 2008, 40,000 Nevadans were contacted that they may have been exposed to HIV and hepatitis strains B and C after having surgical procedures at the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada, 700 Shadow Lane. Federal health officials called it the largest notification of its kind in U.S. history. Patients who had visited the center between between March 2004 and Jan. 11, 2008, were advised to be tested for the diseases.
