I supposed non caffeine coffee suit for woman, or perhaps...drink plain water instead...

Four cups of coffee a day seriously damage a woman’s chances of having a baby, research suggests.

The effect is almost as bad as the problems in pregnancy caused by alcohol, smoking or being overweight, a fertility conference heard.

Women drinking that much caffeine were 26 per cent less likely to have a baby — adding to evidence that it can harm fertility and the health of an unborn baby.

Earlier this year, it was claimed that just two cups of coffee a day could double the risk of miscarriage. Coffee has also been found to increase the risk of stillbirth and is linked to birth defects.

research has shown fit, young, healthy women take longer to get pregnant if they have lots of caffeinated drinks.

Coffee is one of life's pleasures but I do worry about drinking too much of it. These little glass cappuccinos offer an alternate way to enjoy an extra 'Cuppa Joe' every day without unpleasant side effects (photo courtesy of malmseys.com).

What can I say? The Monmouth Coffee company serves and sells excellent coffee... Whether it suits your particular situation or not, that's a different story ;)

I took a picture of this great-tasting coffee I drank one afternoon. It's interesting how this was requested to be part of the photos to be associated with this article. In any case, I think I am lucky I decreased my coffee intake.

The coffee photo I took recently has a caption that talks about this very subject. I am 21 weeks pregnant and I have chosen to not drink coffee to avoid any complications associated with drinking caffeine. I do miss my daily dose of caffeine, but in the end, it's not worth the risk.

You might want to show a few more references than just the dailymail.

My name is bethany mortimer and this picture was taken by me. It is intended to reflect the modern day trend of coffee drinking and the way it is taking over from traditional english tea. Particularly the brand 'starbucks', which is appearing all over the place! Should anyone want to get in touch with me or use photos of mine, write to me at: bethanyanna07@hotmail.co.uk. Thank you.

I took this photo as a fine cap is one of the little pleasures. I don't overdo caffeine, i try not to overdo anything frankly. I don't like the preachy tone of the daily mail on anything and this is just another scaremongering newsfiller, give people some credit for brainpower...

Thanks for using my photo. I certainly fit in the category of drinking too much coffee on a daily basis and although I have a love affair with my coffee, I've often wondered about the potential after effects of this habit.

Don't take drugs too much!!!!

Coffee, I personally love coffee but I don't advise taking 4 cups a day especially for a woman. Understandable that one could be addictive to the aroma and taste of coffee, it is one of the famous "vitamin C" among working adults in Malaysia but bottom line is...try to balance up everything. Not too much, not too little. For me, either one day one or three times a week should be fine!

I saw this cup in a Starbucks in New York City. During processing I decided to make have the picture change from a color photo on the left, to a black and white photograph on the right.  Thanks for asking to use my photograph for this story!

Thanks for using my photo! I love coffee too, even though I don't drink that quantity..

However, it's good to know.. I didn't imagine it was so harmfull.

Thanks for using my pics!  I don't often have more than one cup of coffee per day, but then I do also enjoy diet soda and even some teas have caffeine (as does chocolate, bah!).  My husband and I are trying to start a family and I guess I'll have to look at my overall caffeine consumption, not just how much coffee I'm drinking.  Thank goodness there are some good decaf options out there!

I thought giving up coffee was the right thing to do when I was pregnant. Was the hardest part of being pregnant - I do love my cuppa joe!

Sheesh, it's good that this type of news is getting out there. Thank god I'm a man or my productivity at work would seriously decline without my 4 cups of coffee!

I'm always a bit skeptical of these kind of health related reports because the "data" changes so often. Since I've had all the kids I'm ever going to have I won't worry. I do enjoy my 2 sometimes 3 cups a day. It can't hurt for all people, especially pregnant women, to use moderation in the consumption of most any food especially something like coffee that contains caffeine-an alkaloid. Thanks for using my pictures-

My fresh coffee addiction inspired me to take this photo.

I think anyone pregnant should really steer clear of drinking in excess any stimulants including coffee, of course excessive chocolate is allowed! :) Well until next week when its chocolate.

I drink two cups a day, one with my breakfast and one at work. It's just so satisfying to have coffee when I'm feeling really frazzled from work.

Anyways, thanks for using my pic and for the heads up as well. :D

This is decaf, does that still have the same effect?
