The Time magazine recently reported (7 Feb 08), that ONE BILLION people will die of smoking related diseases by the end of this century. Smoking cessation expert Jon Rhodes is determined to help that not happen.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />“Being a hypnotherapist is a great career, but it is more than that” Jon said from his <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />UK office. “You are in the business of helping people, and sometimes you have to look beyond the business aspect of it.”
Jon has helped many people give up smoking from his private practice in the UK. However he wanted to widen his net, and offer his help to more people.
Amazingly he is offering free online hypnosis sessions for smoking to anyone who visits his site at http://www.freehypnosistreatment.com There are no hidden fees, and no sign ups needed.
“I also offer more free hypnosis audios which can help the smoker remain a non-smoker” Jon commented. “There are many other free sessions for things such as weight loss, positive thinking, relaxation, and sleep”.
Hypnosis is a perfectly safe form of therapy. In 1955 the British Medical Association set up an inquiry which favourably reported hypnosis as a therapeutic tool. Hypnosis was also approved by the Council of Mental Health of the American Medical Association in September 1958 as a safe practice with no harmful side effects.
Hypnosis works by relaxing the conscious mind, allowing the hypnotherapist to talk to the subconscious mind, where all the habits and urges stem from.
“I think it is a real shame that people are slowly killing themselves with this awful habit. Most people want to quit, but do not know how to. I hope to help by contributing some of my services for free. The more people that visit my site, then the more people we can help."
“I want people to spread the word about this free service. Tell your friends and family. Put a link to it from your web site or blog. Hopefully we can help reduce the number of people who succumb to the dreaded weed, and save lives.”
This service is already starting to take off. Many people have already reported that they have quit smoking without any cravings whatsoever. "If you quit smoking, not only are you helping yourself" Jon Explains, "but you are also helping others. Friends and family will no longer be passively smoking from you, and you will no longer be influencing children who watch you smoke."
With the help of Jon, and some determination, hopefully we can all have a good shot at quitting smoking, and prove Time magazine wrong.
