smoked a joint
got drunk
got high

oh how easy it could be to slip away from your problems and
go where you laugh at stupid shit and can't help but
feel like you are the top of the world

so you did
and this continued

from simple salem's
to a cup of cursed corona
to pot to cocaine to heroine
until you realized
you'd gone too far

it couldn't be called
just simple teenage experimentation anymore
