Jack LaLanne, who is the Godfather of health, in addition to his juice extractor and vitamin line is releasing a latest book to correspond with his birthday, “12 Steps to a Healthy Long Life.” The Jack LaLanne Show is still the top running fitness and strength show in record airing for more than 34 years.

Jack at rest works out every morning for over 2 hours and continues to go after his “LaLanneisms,” containing his well-known line “I can’t pass away, it would spoil my image.”

Jack LaLanne was a young aberrant, on one occasion attacking his brother with a machete, and setting his family’s residence on fire. In maturity, he blamed his childish misconduct on being fed excessively high-sugar foods. At the age of 15, his mother took him to attend a dialogue by nutritionist Paul Bragg, encouraged, LaLanne improved his eating routine, reducing everything prepared with white flour or sugar, and as an alternative ate about nothing but vegetables, fruits and fish for the rest of his living. Healthy foods were difficult to locate, so LaLanne invented his personal recipes, and by the age of 18 he owned a health-food bakery.
